Simply the Best - Tina Turner

Jenny is the best 'In the world' tonight as she crossed the finish line of her 345 mile run from Ireland's Malin Head to in Mizen Head in 4days, 23hrs, 3mins and 10seconds. Her record being that of being 'The Fastest Crossing of Ireland - by foot'.

Congratulations from all of us in your team and especially from me as I think you are an amazing wonderful woman.

Bed beckons for us all now as we are all very tired and have a long drive to Dublin so we can come home tomorrow night... nothing's easy eh?'

I know Jenny will add her own comments here but It really was great to be a part of history in the making. Lou and Paul are just amazingly talented people.

More in the morning...

  2. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant running Jen, you are amazing and you well deserve the record foot all the effort you have put into your training and over the last few days on the run itself.
Rory's update have been great over the last few days as well, but it will be great to have your own story as well. Your support crew have been amazing and I'm sure deserve medals themselves - good going all!
No need to tell you to have a good rest on the return journey back to old Blighty :-) All the best for now and so well done Jen!

  8. Jen, what a fabulous wonderful achievement, always knew you would do it and been great to be able to follow you on the blog despite Rorys slight obsession of posting photos of you sleeping every chance he got! Hope you have managed to get some well earned rest for the last few hours and have nothing planned for the next few days so you can savour the achievement. Brilliant job Mark x

  12. Amazing Jen. What an achievement- truly fantastic! Your next challenge ( should you choose to accept it...) is to rest up, recover and focus on the present not the future. Easier said than done I imagine! Best wishes, Heledd
